Use the Rates Estimator to calculate shipping costs before creating an order. This tool helps you compare rates and make informed decisions based on your shipping needs.
How to Access the Estimator:
- Click your account name in the top-right corner of the screen.
- From the header bar, select the Estimator icon.
How to Calculate Estimated Rates:
- Click Edit in the top-right corner of the Estimator interface.
- Choose a Source Location and Destination (e.g., Dubai). For specific addresses, click Use Custom and input details.
- Enter the approximate dimensions and weight of the shipment.
- Click Calculate to view available rates.
- Select your preferred rate.
To compare rates from all source locations, leave the Source Location field blank.
Compare Rates Across Different Currencies
Shipping rates are displayed in the local currency of the source location, but comparing costs can be tricky if multiple currencies are involved. The Estimator allows you to convert all rates into a currency of your choice, simplifying the comparison process.
How to Display Rates in a Single Currency:
- Select a currency from the Currency dropdown on the left side of the Estimator.
- All rates will convert to the selected currency, factoring in exchange rates for transparency.
This unified pricing view ensures you can easily identify the most cost-effective shipping solution.
Create an Order from the Rates Estimator
Once you've found a suitable rate, you can create an order directly from the Estimator.
How to Create an Order:
- Click Create Order within the Estimator interface.
- Complete the order details on the New Order page.
Before fulfillment, you will have the opportunity to review the pricing to ensure it meets your requirements.
