Creating & Updating Bundles

How to create bundles in the B360 app

What are Bundles?

Product bundles are several individual products that are sold as one combined package. This may be useful if you'd like to package complementary products together or create bundles for special events such as Christmas or Mother's Day.

There are two types of bundles: virtual and item.

Virtual Bundles

Virtual bundles unpack into their individual components during fulfilment, so only the separate items appear in the order. This is the default bundle type and the simplest option for most use cases.

Item Bundles

Item bundles remain in the order as a single line item even after unpacking. This means the order displays both the bundle itself and its individual components. This is ideal when you sell or ship the bundle as a physical packaged product, especially if the components are sourced from different locations.

Here's how you can add bundles to the Borderless 360 app

  1. Log into the B360 portal.
  1. In the side navigation panel, select Products.
  1. In the top navigation panel, select Update bundle products.
  1. The template for creating bundles is embedded directly within the B360 app. You will see an editable Google Sheet embedded in the interface.
  1. In the Bundle product SKU field, create the name for your bundle.
  1. In the Product SKU field, enter the SKU for the first product (ensure it is already created in the B360 app).
  1. In the Quantity field, specify the quantity of that product in the bundle.
  1. In the subsequent rows, repeat the same bundle name as in the first row, followed by the next SKU and its quantity, until your bundle is complete.
  1. Once you’ve completed entering your bundle information, click Validate and then Approve within the app.
  1. After approval, go back to Products by selecting Go back to products in the top left corner. You can now search for your bundle and confirm that it has been added successfully.

How to mark a Bundle as Virtual or Item

1. Go to the Products page 2. Under Product Details, select Go to Product 3. Choose Mark as single item or Mark as virtual depending on the bundle type you want to use.

Note: you can also mark or unmark items as bundles from this menu. But the contents of the bundle must be added via the embedded sheet.

Bulk Update Product Bundles

Just like with individual products, you can update, edit, and import your product bundles in bulk using embedded Google Sheets.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Click Update Bundle Products on the Products Page

  1. An embedded Google Sheet will open and you will see all current bundles listed.

  1. Make changes directly in the sheet. You can:
      • Update quantities
      • Modify existing bundles
      • Add new bundles
  1. Click Update and the changes will apply automatically.

This makes managing bundles faster, easier, and more consistent across your product catalog.
