What are Bundles?
Product bundles are several individual products that are sold as one combined package. This may be useful if you'd like to package complementary products together or create bundles for special events such as Christmas or Mother's Day.
There are types of bundles: virtual, item, and ship-ready.
Virtual Bundles
Virtual bundles unpack into their individual components during fulfillment, so only the separate items appear in the order. This is the simplest option for most use cases.

Item Bundles
Item bundles remain in the order as a single line item even after unpacking. This means the order includes both the bundle itself and its individual components. This is ideal when you sell or ship the bundle as a physical packaged product, especially if the components are sourced from different locations.

Ship-Ready Bundles
Ship-ready bundles behave the same as item bundles. They keep the bundle as a line item in the order alongside its individual components.
The only difference is that ship-ready bundles are used for ship-ready products.

Here's how you can add bundles to the Borderless 360 app
Before you start
- Make sure the component products already exist in the Borderless360 app before importing.
- Bundles cannot be nested. A bundle cannot be a component of another bundle.
- Virtual products cannot be added to a bundle.
- All rows with the same bundle SKU must share the same bundle type.
- Virtual bundles are excluded from inventory sync by default. If you use an integration such as Shopify and want virtual bundle stock to sync back to the sales channel, you can enable the Sync inventory for product bundles setting in your Shopify Integration settings.

Adding a New Bundle
- Log into the Borderless360 portal.
- In the side navigation panel, select Products.
- In the top navigation panel, select Update bundle products

- An empty Google Sheet will open directly in the app.

- In the Bundle product SKU field, enter the SKU of an existing product to use as the bundle SKU.
- In the Product SKU field (or Product barcode field), enter the identifier for the first component product (ensure it already exists in the Borderless360 app).
- In the Quantity field, specify the quantity of that product in the bundle.
- In the Bundle type field, specify the type. Every component in a bundle must be the same bundle type.
- In the subsequent rows, repeat the same bundle SKU as in the first row, followed by the next product SKU or barcode and its quantity, until your bundle is complete.
- Once you've completed entering your bundle information, click Validate and then Approve within the app.
Updating an Existing Bundle
- Log into the Borderless360 portal.
- In the side navigation panel, select Products.
