How can we help?

Committing and dispatching manifests

Prepare and dispatch manifests to ensure your shipments are ready for courier pickup

Once your orders are ready, the next steps are committing and dispatching manifests. These actions notify warehouses that shipments are ready to be fulfilled and update tracking details in your integrations.

When onboarding with Borderless360, you can choose to have your manifests dispatched automatically or manually. Most people prefer automatic manifesting so that orders are listed and dispatched at regular intervals throughout the day.

Manually Committing and Dispatching Manifests

Committing a Manifest

Committing a manifest finalizes it for warehouse notification. Here’s how to do it:

  1. From the Dashboard, go to the Manifests page.
  1. Select the manifest(s) using the radio buttons.
  1. Click Bulk Actions, then choose Commit Manifest.

What Happens When You Commit a Manifest?

  • Shipping documents (e.g., labels, packing slips) are prepared.
  • The manifest is locked, meaning no new fulfilled orders can be added.
  • Orders can still be removed by placing them On Hold if needed.

Dispatching a Manifest

Dispatching a manifest updates your integrations with courier information. It also sends finalized shipment information to our warehouse so our team can pick, pack, and dispatch your orders.

Steps to Dispatch a Manifest:

  1. From the Manifests page, select the committed manifest(s) using the radio buttons.
  1. Click Bulk Actions, then choose Dispatch Manifest.
