We never like to lose a client but in the unlikely event that you do wish to stop working with us, you can stock out your inventory from our warehouses by following this process:
1. Provide Notice
You must give us at least 14 days’ notice so we can deploy resources and minimise disruption. Please email your dedicated account manager and our support team at support@borderless360.com to formally inform us of your decision. We’d also appreciate your feedback to help us improve. In your email, please include your preferred termination date (this must be within 30 days).
2. Stock Out Meeting
Once you notify us, we will schedule a Stock Out Plan meeting to discuss your preferred stock-out method, timing, and any specific requirements your new 3PL may have. A member of our team will reach out within 24 hours to arrange the meeting.
3. Transition Planning
We will work closely with you to ensure a smooth transition, minimising any operational disruptions.
4. Stock Release Documentation
You will receive an email with an official letter outlining the obligations and responsibilities of the stock-out process. Additionally, we will provide a preliminary stock release report, which details the information you will need to review and sign before we can proceed. This must be signed before we release your products.
5. Billing & Service Credits
Any outstanding bills will be settled via service credits, where applicable. If service credits cannot be applied, we will discuss alternative resolutions.
6. Final Charges & Deposits
If there are outstanding volumetric charges related to delayed carrier fees, handling surcharges, or other shipping costs, we will provide factual data outlining these charges before initiating the stock-out process. A deposit may be required to account for any pending surcharges or handling fees from shipments processed through the Borderless360 network.
7. Data Export & Account Removal
As part of the stock-out process, we will provide you with a master file export of all your shipping records in CSV format. Once the process is complete, we will remove your account from our systems. You can read more about how we conduct stock outs via our Stock out FAQ .
