Duty and Tax Payment Requirement Under DDP terms, all applicable Duties & Taxes must be calculated and paid upfront before the shipment's departure from Australia. Due to the requirement for pre-departure payment of Duties & Taxes for this service, clients utilizing this trade lane will be required to maintain an upfront deposit of a minimum of USD1,000 (subject to change based on order volume) to cover these charges.
2. Client Obligations for Customs Data To ensure smooth processing and avoid shipment delays, holds, or rejections, clients are strictly obligated to provide highly accurate and correct customs data. ā¢ HS Codes: The Harmonized System (HS) codes must be precise and match the product classification exactly. ā¢ Customs Descriptions: Product descriptions must be detailed, clear, and accurate.
3. Applicable Fees The following service fees and handling charges will apply to all shipments utilizing the AuPost International DDP service from Australia to the U.S.:
