Peak season is the busiest time of the year for e-commerce and commonly runs from October to December. Peak season surcharges are usually added as a flat fee per package, and differ depending on which carrier you’re using. The size of surcharges will be determined by factors such as:

  • Destination

  • Service

  • Size/weight

  • Additional handling

Carriers usually announce seasonal surcharges a few weeks before they go into effect, but in general, can be brought in at any time.

Borderless360 passes on all surcharges on at cost. To ensure full transparency we have posted all surcharge information directly from the courier at the bottom of this page.
