We want to receive your products at our warehouses without error or delay. Receiving correctly lays the foundations for everything else we do at our warehouses, and this article will walk you through how to package and ship your products to us correctly, every time, without incurring unnecessary fees.

Before sending products to us, ensure you’ve done everything on our Valid ASN checklist.

Valid ASN checklist

  1. Do the products meet B360’s Acceptable Products Policy?

  2. Submit a new Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) in the B360 app.

  3. Correctly package and label pallets, cartons, and singles.

  4. Ensure the product counts in the shipment match those in the ASN.

  5. Ensure shipment will arrive free and clear of customs, duties, and tariffs, along with correct Importer of Record and Tax IDs.

  6. Set up tracking for the shipment.

Packaging your products

You’ll package your products as singles, or together in cartons.

Singles

Single items must be packaged so they won’t be damaged during inbound transit, storage, and the receiving process. You should use Polybags and other Ship-ready packaging to protect single items.

Cartons

Cartons contain a number of singles and protect your products from damage during inbound transit, storage, and the receiving process.

Pallets

Borderless360 facilities currently do not support pallet exchanges on site. Our facilities don't currently accept CHEP, Loscam or Euro Pallets and may refuse receipt of goods. When creating your ASN, please work with your supplier or freight forwarder to ensure that the stock is shipped on standard plain pallets to avoid delays.

Important: We cannot support different SKUs inside the same carton. This would cause errors or delays and you may incur Non-Valid ASN Fees.

Fragile products

Please add fragile stickers to the outside packaging of fragile products.

Adding a label with the ASN Number

Please ensure a Receiving Label containing the ASN Number, barcode, source address, and the destination address is displayed on the outside of your package(s) so our warehouses can easily receive it without delay or error. You can view and download Receiving Labels in-app. You'll find the download button under the Shipping Documents column on the ASN Orders page.

Sending your shipment

When you’ve finished packaging your products, send them to your preferred B360 warehouse. B360 can provide an inbound shipping service to transport your products to our warehouses. If you’d like us to do this, reach out to our Ops team. We’ll provide you with a shipping label, which you must affix to your shipment.

Alternatively, you will arrange with your own courier to transport your goods to us on trucks, or inside large containers.

Trucks

Please adhere to the requirements of the courier who collects your shipment.

Containers

If you’re sending a large amount of inventory that requires containers, please let us know whether your products will be floor-loaded or pallet-loaded. All products must be packaged securely during transport to avoid movement and damage to goods. Damaged goods may incur Non-Valid ASN Fees.

Adding a Tracking Number

Following shipment, please add the courier Tracking Number to the ASN you submitted in the B360 app.

Customs clearance

When sending shipments as a merchant, you need to clear customs and pay taxes and duties on your inventory. This means providing Importer of Record and Tax ID information. B360 can provide a customs clearance service. Ask us for help.

Insurance

We recommend you take out insurance for your goods when shipping them to us.

Requirements

You must complete every step on the Valid ASN checklist to avoid incurring Non-Valid ASN Fees.
