Two new tracking statuses
Awaiting Collection status
Previously, when couriers were not able to deliver orders because customers were not home, couriers returned the orders to the post office where they awaited collection. But neither customers nor senders were notified about this, resulting in unhappy customers and orders being returned.
We’ve now solved this problem by introducing the Awaiting Collection status, which triggers a notification email that is sent to both customers and senders so they’re fully informed about orders awaiting collection.
We currently support Awaiting Collection status with Australia Post. See this article.
Expired status
The Expired status occurs when couriers no longer provide tracking events, irrespective of whether orders have been delivered. Such statuses should be investigated as the cause is typically unknown and rare.
